#1: WIP - Moonstone HDI - apjs87 Author: apjs87, Location: PlymouthPosted: Mon Mar 08, 2010 1:38 pm ---- I have been on here a little while now but havent really had time to take pictures and get some up. Anyway, couple days off came by and i got the cleaning gear and a camera out.
First up some mid clean shots...
I know what your thinkin with this one, wait for it...
That was mid way through a clean and once dried with my microfibre....courtesy of Mikeyuk
Up came a couple reflection shots...
Cleaned out the inside today also....
Whilst having the car, i've had a small modding bug. they are only simple but think it makes the car look tonnes better...
Went from these... Were on the car when i got it
To these...
Replaced the aerial...
Fitted some sounds. Simple but sounds good! Headunit in interior pics...
Infinity 6x9s on parcel shelf, angled...
A little bit of colour coding. First is the door mirror cap which was only primered when i got it...
Wiper cap...
Now we are on to the badge. Simple and original black, last coat of laquer on and waiting to dry now...
All of the above hand sprayed in my work shop
Up and coming plans are to -
Fit my laguna splitter (thanks tomd) and masked crystals
If finances start looking up -
Remap, Exhaust and lower
Thanks for looking! any comments and tips welcome
EDIT - Will get some night shots up soon of my headlights, side light and rear plate lights Last edited by apjs87 on Mon Mar 08, 2010 2:08 pm; edited 1 time in total

#22: Re: WIP - Moonstone HDI - apjs87 Author: apjs87, Location: PlymouthPosted: Tue Aug 24, 2010 12:02 pm ---- well been a while since i updated this thread, my plans from my first post are out of the window now due to finances and other problems with the car.
I have had:
- New drop links
- New top mount bearings - Came back with knocking from front left
- Replaced the wishbone and knocking still there!
- New clutch - release bearing was failing on the original
- Broken ABS ring so replaced both CV joints while i was at it
- Transmission seal leak, new one fitted
- MOT failed on side lights and wheel bearing
The knocking seems to be from the top mount as when i bounce the car i can hear slight clicking from the mount itself, so gonna try and tighten.
Apart from that, all good!
Any mod plans are out of the window as mentioned as im thinking of trading the car in for a Corsa Limited Edition when mine is paid off
