could be the lifters? ive heard other people on here say that they create a loud ticking noise

Is it ticking from the top of the engine, side of the engine, bottom of the engine????
If you guys want help then give as much info as possible or you wont get the help needed as we dont have crystal balls!!

I cant actually say where the sounds coming from as I dont have the car at the moment but once I do ill post again.

The sound increases with speed or more accurate the faster i go the faster the ticking sound comes... Sounds as if coming from left side of engine area....

Its just come back from mechanic twice had a service and fuel pump + all fuel lines changed... Also just done the timming belt... This car keeps costing me money but id rather fix it then spoil it....
