Replacing Blown Bulbs
-> 206 Problems

#1: Replacing Blown Bulbs Author: PaddyC, Location: Ireland PostPosted: Wed Aug 10, 2011 3:08 am

The first bulb that's gone is in the radio display dash, the centre bulb seems to have gone. How do you access the inside to replace the bulbs? (If one's gone, I'll just replace all three for convenience sake!)

The other bulb that's gone is the left hand side of the fan unit. How do I access that to change the bulb? Am I going to have to remove the dash to do it?

For both of these cases, where's the best place to get the replacement bulbs, is it Peugeot themselves or do places like Halfords do them? (It's easier for me to get to Halfords than Peugeot!) Are they cheap enough to buy? Thanks for any help! Smile

Pull the hood off the top of the display to gain access to the bulbs on top one.

To get to the heater display bulbs take the top same as above, and then remove centre console.

yeah halfords do the bulbs for them, but i found that the air con control bulbs were harder to get access to as the rods for the circulation and stuff got in the way, i miss climate control.... easy as hell to change the bulbs Sad

How does the centre console come out exactly? Do you have to unscrew things or does it pull out or are there clips holding it in place or what?

Get your torx 20 screwdriver out, the 206 centre console comes apart so easy for replacing blown bulbs.

Thanks for that. Have ordered them at the local Peugeot dealer and they will contact me when they are in. Checked Halfords but they apparently don't have the lights I require. Thanks all for the help! Smile
