#1: Defect Master Cylinder Author: molldk, Location: DenmarkPosted: Fri Aug 12, 2011 9:55 am ---- Hi
I have a problem with my brakes.. I can brake to a point and after that point it just sink
I have checked for brake fluid and it's all there, but when pressing the brake pedal and listen to the reservoir your can hear a little squizing. Do any of you had a similar problem ? I'm suspecting the Master cylinder as I can't find any leak in the system, could it be other things ?
The car is a Peugeot 206 1.6i by the way
Thanks appreciate your help

I finally figured it out.. Changed the master cylinder which didn't help, it shows out that right rear brake cylinder was out of position because of rust between the cylinder and the place it supposed to be at... :/ The area was cleaned and the cylinder was put in place again, now it works like a charm Thought I would share it, if others have the same problem
