Here's a few pics of my Old 206. Was a great little motor and enjoyed (almost) every minute of driving it, gave a few more poweful cars a fright on track as well Laughing

I had him for 4 years and did quite a bit of work, axles, wheels, brakes, suspension, engine, cosmetic touches here and there, was a great project. Miss it quite a bit sometimes.

My favourite example of a well modified 206. Smile

When you put it up for sale I thought hard about buying it but, without sounding hypocritical, the amount of engine tinkering put me off - especially the fiasco with the cams.

Heh heh. I've never heard from the new owner. Both happy and sad about that mind. I'm sure if he had a problem shortly after buying it he'd be in touch. But I've never heard a thing. ce la vie and all that I guess.

The Cams were a fiasco, but.... I soon stripped the engine back down into bits, rebuilt it with new Cam Belt, Head Gasket, Reworked Head and got it running within 5 hours or so. And it ran like a dream the next day at Castle Combe. Was (and hopefully still is) a fantastic motor.

Heh heh, I'd like to buy it back (he say's without seeing the shape its in now). If I could put the Leon's engine into it I would have it back in a heartbeat. Would be a monster then Laughing

It was a bit quicker than what it said on the tin Laughing It had quite a history, not all of it good mind, but it's all experience eh?!

I wanted to get it faster, but I just didn't have the cash at the time. Would have loved to get a supercharged engine in there but it was just out of reach. If I could have managed it, I would still have it Laughing
