#1: something near passenger feet getting extremely hot Author: OLlVER, Location: BlackpoolPosted: Sun Aug 14, 2011 1:11 pm ---- I noticed yesterday that in the passnger footwell to the right of the feet there is a black sort of box with a tube comine out the back, and it was extremely hot I then drove today and had a weird burning smell?
Can anyone help?

might be just the heater matrix then, it uses the water from the engine so would slowly get hotter and hotter

nope, seems normal to me. Maybe I'm just being an idiot, but I did notice it when the car wasn't turned on, I had it so the stereo was playing as I fitted some neons in the footwells and at that point noticed it was red hot
