We all know that insurance costs change from street to street, with where the car is parked and the experience of the driver. So whatever someone else has been quoted, it's unlikely that another person (even if they live next door) will get the same quote.

I spoken to a guy who just turned 19, hes just passed his test and can't get insured on anything for less than 4 grand.
A guy I went to school with and passed the same time as me, is paying £3000 on his corsa c 1.2 sxi - but I think that is mostly down to the choice of car, and I do not know if he has made any claims or where he lives now though.
The new law on not deciding price based on sex isn't going to help when it comes in december. Instead of lowering mens and increasing womens to make them meet in the middle, they will use it as an excuse to raise both quite a lot. It is a bad state when insuring a 306 cabrio (£285 fully comp) cost less than a honda civic coupe (£345 again fully comp) that's at 33 with 9 yrs (full is at 7 yrs) NCB no points or convictions. Funny thing is I was using compare the meerkat and got a quote back of 126k, I was thinkin if i had that kinda money would I really be drivin a civic coupe.
Bottem line insurance is balls but we all need it to be legal

ah right well that explanes the ins costs then still a nice car tho and tbh not alot slower than the wrx/sti in the bendy bits as you still got the same 4x4 set up as we do. 99% of the parts can be swaped between them all anyway.

I noticed mate, looks nice. They are and arent, the subframes require modifications to fit but in the bends she will 'show up' quite alot of german toys even without a turbo. Saying that this shape was rumored to have 150 and not 125 which is nice
I look forward to the rear subframe swap, as im not sure many would attempt this

parts i find are not alot worse than the pugs tbh fuel well yes if you use boost alot then there not the best lol lol but on a run mine get 30 ish so i can live with that.
not quite sure what you mean about rear anti roll bar a wrx should have one as standerd mate.
mine has got the whiteline arb and the antilift kit with a top stut brace and really do notice how much better the turn in is.
oh and solid drop links
You think mines a WRX?
2.0 GX, insurance on a turbo is £4k plus
ah right well that explanes the ins costs then still a nice car tho and tbh not alot slower than the wrx/sti in the bendy bits as you still got the same 4x4 set up as we do. 99% of the parts can be swaped between them all anyway.
some pics of mine in the meets section from the last chichester meet
I noticed mate, looks nice. They are and arent, the subframes require modifications to fit but in the bends she will 'show up' quite alot of german toys even without a turbo. Saying that this shape was rumored to have 150 and not 125 which is nice
I look forward to the rear subframe swap, as im not sure many would attempt this
i quite like the handling of impreza; can def. feel more power on the wheels round the corner.
