#1: new/secondhand exhaust Author: toddy77, Location: York,United KingdomPosted: Tue Aug 16, 2011 5:20 pm ---- i had a look at my exhaust the other day as i knew it was blowing a bit but when i had a look it was worse then i thought, it was rusting through on ALL the joints, first thought through my head.....this is going to cost me
Had a look on ebay to see what there was about and found a used janspeed exhaust so put an opening bit on it and waited.
The noise from the exhaust was slowly getting worse over the last few days, then i came home from work today and pulled up outside my house half on the curb half off as normal as the street is very busy and the exhaust caught on the curb and pulled the thing in 2
Then i remembered about the exhaust on ebay so got on the computer to check it and i had won it for a grand total of.........£50
So i taped the exhaust up and went for a drive to pick it up, just got back and cant wait to get it fitted tomorrow

TOP TIP: A socket jammed between tail pipe & bumper stops the melting while you take it to be repaired / replaced
