If it's glue residue use nail varnish remover or something similar to break it up and then wipe clean, follow it up with some good protection, ie polish, wax and seal and it should be spot on:)

I took the glue off with my nails covered with a microfibre cloth which worked. Seems ok, just a light outline of the peugeot/206 badges though. Typically I dont have any wax/polish left
Think ill clean it up next time then!!
