Looking at getting a GTI have found one with 100k on the clock had it checked out by a local mechanic, he said needs new disk brakes all round and front shocks. If i can get it for 850-900. what do you guys think?

just been looking at prices for them all and it totaled to close on the £200 mark

140K on a gti probably need a new engine in a few hours.
