I want to paint my front peugeot badge black to match the bumper. Do i need to sand it down and prime etc before hand or can i just paint over the top of it.
Also, which paint? Spray on or brush?

Then apply lacquer. Just remember to spray from a distance and apply in light coats slowly building them up. If it runs youve done it too thick. good luck

You dont need to sand it down between coats of primer when your using plastic primer.

The time you spent doing loads of coats could have been spent doing the job properly. Bloody pure laziness. To the OP do the job right first time you won't have to worry about it in the future. There is a reason the sanding and priming process is there.
