#1: After trying to solve the reving.. Its still reving lol Author: adz2k3, Location: United KingdomPosted: Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:11 pm ---- Well... Today we took the complete throttle body of... cleaned it right out, and the same with the stepper motor/icv...
We pluged it into a computer.. for it to say everything is working as it should... all bar the CTS coolent temp sensor... would this make it struggle to start, and rev like it does.
The computer was saying the cts temp was -40degrees...
Thanks for your input once again.

Cheap part, replace it and see if it works

Its still reving lol Author: pug206lx, Location: Taking a gearbox off somewherePosted: Sat Aug 20, 2011 2:56 pm ---- The coolant temperature sensor will cause problems because the ECU thinks the engine is at a different temperature to what it actually is, ie warm when its cold or cold when its warm.
I had my 206 stalling and running rough when cold about 2 months ago, the gauge was also moving about a lot and always showing warm - replaced the coolant temperature sensor and not seen the problem since. Was about £30 from Peugeot.
