#1: Crunching noise when turning Author: acotton21, Location: NottsPosted: Tue Aug 23, 2011 4:03 am ---- Its hard to explain what kind of noise it is but got in car the other day went to turn and it made such a horrible kind of like crunching noise?
Ive heard it could be somthing like wheel bearings??
Can anyone help please?

top mount bearing noise come in when steering only and CV joint noise come in when moving only.
wheel bearing noise is higher pitch and normally happens all the time no matter you are driving striaght or at corner. you can test that by shaking the wheel too.
