#1: Adam's Black GTi 180. K&N Panel In and LCR Splitter On. Author: ad_182_uk, Location: Sandiacre, NottsPosted: Sun Feb 07, 2010 6:27 pm ---- After having a saxo VTS for about 3 years i decided it was time to update to something a bit newer with a better spec and bit more oommpppphhh!
When i 1st got the car the gear linkages all fell to pieces but now after having a whole new linkage system the beast runs fine suprisingly similar to the saxo but in good ways
here's a couple of pics...
now the 180!
Clean as...
Mods:
lowered 50mm with shocks all round
White Vortex (i think) alloys with red lip
custom white gti badge at rear
powerflow system with sports cat
custom engine cover
full SP kit
privacy glass
drilled and grooved discs with ceramic pads
nasty rear lights
nice little sound system, upgraded fronts + amp up vibe shelf speakers, alpine sub and amp
To do:
Few dents that require paintless dent removal
smoke front headlights/change to audi style
change rear lights
smoked side repeaters
induction kit of somekind
maybe a strut brace
cupra front splitter
momo steering wheel, either f1 concept 320mm or team 300mm
combrake quickshift maybe
206info.co.uk rear quarter window stickers
thats about it for now
any suggestions/questions/comments welcome Last edited by ad_182_uk on Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:19 pm; edited 6 times in total

But those suggested tweeks would look bob on

thanks matey, your china blue beast looks preety swish too the steering wheel is at the bottom of the list atm anyway i just have grown acustom to smaller steering wheels... i had a momo team 280mm in the saxo, basically its go-kart sized!!! was great to gain a bit of extra leg room though

#21: Re: Adam's Black GTi 180. Bit of strut brace bling... Author: coopskin, Location: Hull, East YorkshirePosted: Wed Feb 24, 2010 10:08 am ---- nice car mate!
just a hint to try and get you tinted rear lights shiny!
get a machine polisher and use a polish like AG Super Resin Polish on them! using a smooth polishing pad and them lights will shine up real nice. that will finish the rear off rather than the lights being a matte effect

The car is Photoshopped but the headlights are real. They're standard crystals covered in dark smoke tint film from lamin-x.co.uk.
#25: Re: Adam's Black GTi 180. Bit of strut brace bling... Author: Alan_206HDi, Location: Hatfield Heath, HertsPosted: Wed Feb 24, 2010 10:24 am ---- I like them Ross more than the Valeo Masked Crystals tbh!
#26: Re: Adam's Black GTi 180. Bit of strut brace bling... Author: Ross, Location: West MidlandsPosted: Wed Feb 24, 2010 10:27 am ---- The one big downside is vision, although to be fair I was using yellow headlight bulbs that were about 4 quid off eBay . I have to say if I had another 206 I'd probably do the same again, although I'd maybe consider the lighter smoke film aswell.

red rim tape from ebay... about £3? simple easy and effective.
the film tinted front lights look nice. happy with mine though, no problems with lighting or mot either.

Author: ad_182_uk, Location: Sandiacre, NottsPosted: Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:49 pm ---- yer i may re-locate the K&N sticker to under the bonnet when it starts to peel off, just thort it would be nice to break up all the black a little bit...
erm i fitted the splitter with 4 self tappers and then used the 2 torx screw/bolts at each end of the bumper that, i think, attach the wheel arch to the bumper... whatever it was i just took them out then measured up and but a hole through the splitter then screwed it up.
