they take the weight better than you'd think actuly. my arches sit just over the wheels, an i used to absolutly cram my whole life into it when heading to uni and back. thats like 2 big clothes bags, laptops, speakers, table top, metal stand, 2 turntables in cases, a mixer in boxes of vinyl records. all that weighs a ton, and i used to do 2n half hour drive each way with no issues.
