Well, pretty much...in fact I even sometimes think its stalled the engine is that calm and quiet...
The solution....
A smaller CAT, and a more aligned tight to the body exhaust!
Lambda sensor replaced (CAT and sensor courtesy of Lee!)
The idle stall problem has buggered off aswell, and I reckon thats down to the tightened up air intake, cleaned intake and coolant flush, making the engine run cooler (used to stall at 93oC thereabouts)

People have pointed to some of the more common problems but a lambda sensor or MAP sensor or the ETS can really ruin any chance of an even tickover. Besides normal service items of plugs and air filter then a simple exhaust leak will mean the lambda sensor gets all the wrong information. With so many variables then you could throw money at it like you're doing and try this or try that but by far the quickest and probably cheapest would be to have someone scan the sensors on running data at tickover and have someone who knows what they're looking for interpret the results
