Until now.
Went to drive it to work the other day, starts fine, sounds fine, but when I started driving all the electrics in the car went dead, but the car was still running, they go off for about 2seconds then come back on.
Please help

On the battery MINUS - lead follow it down to where its bolted on to the top of the gearbox & check the cable here at the big terminal, on early 206's like this they are well known for breaking here, they can look perfectly fine but if pulled gently the cable will come out of the terminal.
That cable should then loop of from the gearbox & be bolted to the inner wing.
When you say all the electrics go off do you mean everything? headlights, radio, instrument cluster etc.

Very confusing as the car still runs
