It's not rocket science, the pin layout is the EXACT same just in a different shaped plug.

Just match the wires

too late i cut off the plugs already, so is there anyone out there willing to do a little research for me by going look at their wiring and reporting back which colours are in which pins? Surely there's someone out there decent enough help me finally get these mirrors up and running, pretty please

must be something wrong with your soldering iron if it's taken this long to heat up and sort it out, try looking through the previous posts and pics the clues are there.
