I'm just changing my solenoids over but I can't see how to remove this White rod that connects to the outer door lock. In middle of the pic

In the scrapyard when removing the solenoid I just snapped it but obviously can't so that on my car lol

Stuck, sitting in the gravel outside my house stuck lol

Pull the metal 'U' shaped clip off and it pulls out. Slide it to the left in the pic.

Door lock barrels on a 206 & most other PSA Peugeot / Citroen stuff, p**s easy job, less then 90 seconds a side, no need to remove the door card, Peugeot designed in an easy way of removing the lock barrel securing clip.

Remove rubber bung.

Insert your threaded tool & screw it in to the clip.

Push the tool in to the door to release the clip.

Lift the barrel out & unclip it.

Refitting is reversal of removal.

Ignition barrel - about 5 minutes:

Remove the plastic trim around the steering lock.

Unplug the barrel from the wiring loom.

Check for a small securing grub screw in end of barrel ( not all barrels have this! )

Insert key & turn to the LOCK SERVICE position.

Push the securing clip down & then pull the barrel out the steering lock, if the transponder aerial gets in the way unplug / unclip it.

Refitting is reversal of removal.

I also find that the V shaped holder/clip is a bit of a pain, I used a flat head and a hammer! Smile
