it say's 150 in the add, but i'm sure there 180 seats! its just missing the spoiler and wheels.

standard 138.
the seats look half leather to me, can see hooped headrests aswel.

They continued to sell 138s alongside 180s, they didn't sell much though

Me too I thought they stopped the 138s and starting selling the 180s so they couldn't have overlapped.

A 2005 138 sounds odd to me, well I've never seen a normal gti go past 2003.

I dont know much about the crossover period of 138 - 180 but i was sure they carried on making the 138, not everyone could afford the 180 at the time.

But if not then the 2005 gti 138 may have been made in 2003 and not registered until 2005.
Lee could surely drum up the facts and figures from the plate for exact day it was made and registered.

Yes that would the last of the 138's. Had traction control and an electronic throttle by that time.

138... look at the seats,exhaust, wheels, speedo surround not in leather, lack of carbon look parts etc
