as been told - make sure you have a gb sticker on your car (mine is on the plate)
Ensure you have a Warning Triangle, Hi Vis vests for each passenger, Spare Bulbs, First Aid Kit, Light deflectors.
Make sure you have both parts of your licence and a valid insurance doc on you!.
breakdown cover, is a good idea, get a single trip one - think mine was through RAC last time (discounted through work), but probably be the cheapest offer this year as RAC are nothing to do with us anymore.
