#1: Replacing passenger airbag dash cover only? Author: Martyn1988, Location: OakhamPosted: Thu Sep 08, 2011 12:26 pm ---- Hi guys, newbie here. I'm just trying to get a bit of advice on changing the passenger airbag cover in my 206 please. It's got a split in it from somewhere (never activated, split only past month or so) and so needs to be changed before I sell.
Do I need to change the complete airbag, or is it just a cover as I'm hoping?
Here's a couple of pictures of the problem -
Thanks,
Martyn.

Try undoing the fixings that attach it to the dash.
1/4" socket set & a torch come in handy, watch out for the hidden torx screws

I managed to get a passenger airbag from the scrappy down the road. Just finished fitting it, engine on and no warning or fault lights which is good news. Only cost me £5 too!
Thanks for all your help guys,
Martyn.

Make sure there's no one / nothing nearby as the bang is loud & they jump a good few feet in the air!
