#1: Coolant bleed screws and drain screw location on 1.4HDI? Author: pottry, Location: SofetoPosted: Thu Sep 08, 2011 2:54 pm ---- So this is it. I know the location of the bleeding screw at the pipes that go to the heating radiator.
However I can't find the second one (is there second one at all)?
I spent 1 hour trying to find it (presumably somewhere near the termostat) and I couldn't.
Also do the 1.4HDI has a draining plug for the coolant on the engine?
Pics would be invaluable!
Thanks!

would be much easier to drain out

Not to mention, isn't the thermostat near the top? Why would th drain plug be up there?
Still, if somebody KNOWS something on the matter please share.
Thanks.

the bleed point is on the thermostate housing, if you can't find it you can remove the coolant sensor to blled it.
the last one is on the top of the radiator (big plug)
