206 1.1 look speedo swap

Hi guys wonder if someone can help. I have a 2003 206 1.1 look, the speedo and rev counter has packed up. The speedo type is a single plug and I have found a replacement from a scrap yard with a lower mileage then the current one. Now from what I can tell from conversations on the forum’s is that the new clocks should default to the mileage currently shown in the car. Am I correct? Also could someone explain what you mean by plexed and multiplexed I understand the difference just don't know what is meant by plexed / multiplexed and how you can tell which you have. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Chris

swap them over, i think from what i remember they should sink to your current mileage.. Very Happy

You can dell the difference by looking at your steering wheel headunit control stick, if its a little thin one its pre, if its a bigger oval shaped one its a mux
