Not very helpful advice, my gearbox works fine and its on 65000 miles just wanting to keep on top of things as it may help to mantain it

It holds 6L including the filter, but PAS fluid is the same stuff, i would not bother changing it in all honesty unless the gears are taking a long time to shift up and down

ive checked and cannot see a dat/milage to change so maybe you never change it unless the box is removed etc

It's really up to you but I have my AL4 gearboxes oil changed every 20k miles or every 2 years by local Peugeot specialist. One of mine is on 96k and is still going strong and that trouble free mileage puts many a manual gearbox to shame. Gearchanges are as smooth as silk

AL4 does a duty cycle count and at 6000 hours will flash Ice and Sport warnings to say time for oil change but it's better to do it way before then and get the counter reset

This pic might help but if you're going to try it yourself then read up on the procedure as it's easy to under or over fill
