WD40? Confused

apparently it works wonders, got my dad read up on a forum yesterday while i was at work and someone had the same problems, used WD40 and it sorted it out. But they did say you have to do it every 12 months. the airbag warning lights gone off now we've sprayed so who knows

Rust?

WD40 works wonders but it sounds like the plugs not making great contact.
Take the bag off and see if the plugs are clipped in fully.

yeah i knew about the airbags but its been WD40'd and now airbag lights have gone off so who knows it might work then again it might not, i'll give it a test drive see if my lights are still randomly flashing tonight Smile

I know your pain, I have a dodgy Comm 2000 unit as well! Though its not as bad as yours, I only get overcorrection on the indicators and the odd random windscreen wipe or two!

I found a site which sells them for £90px when you send your broken one back to them, is that a good price???

Is that peugeotpartsforsale.com you're talking about? I got a refurbed Com2000 unit of them around this time last year having been to every scrappy for miles and trawling the internet. That was the best deal I could find and I'd recommend them
