#1: What is this for?? Author: tubbe2, Location: DenmarkPosted: Fri Sep 16, 2011 3:01 pm ---- As the title says, what on earth is this connection used for? (pictured, blue wire)
As you can see on the picture, the wire has been cut of/broken, it was connected to the plug (marked with red) which you can see in the right corner (it's located just over the oil filter). The copper was green from oxidation, so it seems like it's been like this for quite a while Anyway, I fixed it up and put it back on - so now I'm wondering what it's for?

Black trunking? you mean the protective thingy? That's the connector I'm talking about, the other part of the cut off blue wire is inside that, I revised the picture for it to make a bit more sense - will see if I can get a better pic today.

The broken wire on the loom, with the engine running touch it to earth & see if the oil pressure warning light flashes up on the instrument cluster

I edited it after you mistaking, that it was that one So you're not seeing ghosts
But I did also ask about that connector, I guessed it was air-con anyhow
