#1: My dash lights keep cutting out when braking! Author: Gaz360, Location: LouthPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 8:15 am ---- Hi, Can anyone help me with this one please.
Evry time i even lightly put my foot on the brake pedal, my dash lights go out. The lights that go out r my milage light, dash with date an that, and (sometimes) my climate cntrl display.
This doesnt happen when my lights are on. might be worth noting that my speedo dial doesnt work at all. all the other dials are fine all the time.

2 completely different types of electrical system have been used by Peugeot on the 206 over the years, give us a clue what we are dealing with

Author: Chris_Pug_206, Location: Larne, Northern IrelandPosted: Tue Sep 20, 2011 11:36 am ---- I had this exact problem a few weeks ago and by luck my dad was behind me one day and let me know my tail light was cutting out when I was braking so when I checked it the earth on the stop/tail light wasnt connected properly so got it reconnected and hey presto everything was back to full working order!
