Must have been a rubbish 180 driver if the fiesta st was even Stevens, there's not a massive difference between the 2, but there is a difference
i was in the back of the 180 at the time and he was changing at right time etc but the st kept up tbh, only saying what i saw.
was in the st on return trip, both felt very similar tbh,
i like both anyway but would still choose the 180 over the two lol
How many people were in each car when the ST kept up with the 180, you say you were in the back ...so thats at least 3 in the 180.

There are 1.4 rally cars that will make even the GTi look stupid.... get a 1.4 16valve engine and breath on it and you get a screaming demon of a car.... its all about money, if you want an exciting car you have to part with some of it..... and it will be more than £8

seldom see a 1.4 16v 206 rally car though
although i have seen quite a few rally 106 1.4 Xsi; pretty fast, surely a lot fast than stock 206gti and probably comparable to stock 180.
#49: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: Andy180, Location: Stoke on TrentPosted: Tue Sep 20, 2011 12:25 pm ---- I think the ZR 160 would be the most fun out of the 3 cars you've mentioned The a3 will be better built but even the 1.8t's arn't that fast and they don't handle that well, the fiesta st's are gash there slow and they rust.

#51: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: sillyhilly, Location: The Mean Streets of CoventryPosted: Tue Sep 20, 2011 12:34 pm ---- 206s are complete s**t in comparison to everything else that is on offer in the Market, but it's been a perfect motor for me and dare I say it, has been very fun to drive.
However you come onto a 206 forum... Do not expect a positive response, especially as most are biased and can't see the wood for the trees.

Am repping the ST corner!
Peugeot 206 GTi (99-06) 2.0 (180bhp) 3d Weight 1125 kg
MPG
32
Insurance Group
28
0-60 mph
7.5 s
Ford Fiesta ST (05-08) 2.0 ST 3d Weight 1137 kg
MPG
38
Insurance Group
26
0-60 mph
7.9 s
Also has cheaper road tax miles cheaper insurance (I found)and very easy to modify (change the flexi for a miltek and a k&n filter and you looking at 165 bhp roundabouts) and muchos better the drive than the 180 imo
EDIT. nearly forgot timing chain over belt anyday
