In all fairness you've got a 1.4 8v how much fun were you hoping for?
had more fun in my 1.2 punto at 17...
206 is slow, looks poor and overall a boring car
a 1.4 206 is faster than a 1.2 Punto LOL, it looks poor because yours is a 5 door standard 206 with lexus lights which is all your own doing bud
Dont get me wrong 206's are far from the greatest cars in the world, infact i dont really like mine that much but it is far better than a Punto! A car is as much fun as you make it...
£8 ebay bargin lexus lights that is better then the standerd.

the vag was good don't get me wrong but just sooooooo dam boreing and bland just no fun
#18: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: Jordan_xsi, Location: IpswichPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:04 pm ---- I dissagree, just because something is different doesnt make it better. It seems alot of people think oem parts arnt as good as aftermarket parts but its clear to see your £8 bargain lights are poor quality and id choose standard ones any day, they dont even look nice! Dont mean to have a go but you cant say your bored of a car after a month, you cant possibly know how to gain the most from your car in that space of time.

and for the record 160 ZR's are not nippy, a good old 150 ST would sit with it day in day out
a 99 GTi will happily play with both of those

#22: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: Seabook, Posted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:21 pm ---- fiesta st is slow
#23: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: Mr_Cellexe, Location: HertfordshirePosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:22 pm ---- true true.
serves him right for buying a 'boring' 206 tho eh?
#24: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: PugJH, Location: NorthantsPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:43 pm ---- Lol. If you got the 206 because it was cheap and you spend as little money as you can on car parts *£8 lights* then.....
1. I don't expect this to go ahead
2. If it does I doubt it'll be any of the above mentioned other than the zr due to price/your choice in cars
3. It'll only end up being as boring and run down as the car you own now
Why don't you swap it in for a newer shape punto.....
#25: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: NorthantsBen, Location: Raunds, NorthamptonshirePosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 2:52 pm ---- my mates fiesta st leaves his mate 138 206 standing, (I even had a go in the 138 to try and beat the st, hehe)
keeps up with a 180 was even Stevens all the way down the a45 against the 180

#27: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: furryhobnob, Location: NuneatonPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 3:11 pm ---- Must have been a rubbish 180 driver if the fiesta st was even Stevens, there's not a massive difference between the 2, but there is a difference
#28: Re: Bored after a month, the pug is going Author: Jordan_xsi, Location: IpswichPosted: Mon Sep 19, 2011 3:13 pm ---- Depends on the individual cars, look at the contrast in RR figures for stock 180's some come around 160 and others are actually around 180 which is clearly a big difference.

i was in the back of the 180 at the time and he was changing at right time etc but the st kept up tbh, only saying what i saw.
was in the st on return trip, both felt very similar tbh,
i like both anyway but would still choose the 180 over the two lol Last edited by NorthantsBen on Mon Sep 19, 2011 3:27 pm; edited 1 time in total
