Afaik, any box will fit. As long as you get the cable/hydraulic aspect correct to your car.

Only difference will be the gear ratio's.

I need to find out if its got a cable clutch now which it probably will do.

no idea at all; better check on the servicebox as i remember most RHD 206 run hydraulic clutch....

The box in your link is definately a cable clutch type. You can see the actuator arm in the photo.

Thank you but I already found my answer. I don't know a great deal about gearboxes. The S2 gearbox can also be found on the 206 XS. Why does the 1.6 have such a short ratio? Also how much difference is it going to make to acceleration and drive-ability? I am stuck between this box (on about 80k) and a 58 plate box with lower miles.
