#1: slow gti project UPDATE 06/11/2011 Author: matt.handley, Location: kentPosted: Sun Sep 25, 2011 9:30 am ---- hey guys,
I thought i would finally set up a project thread for my new 206, i bought the gti about a month ago, havent been able to do much to it yet as funds are a bit low, but it will get there :).
As it stood when i bought it:
Then when i got it home i started spraying the front badge in black:
Then my 206info sticker turned up (i didnt expect this for a few weeks)
it stayed like this for a while, until i won a spoiler on ebay from just down the road, this sat in the boot of car for 2 weeks until i could fit it:
before:
after:
then i decided i would debadge the back at the same time while i wait:
my opinion is the back is nearly done just need lights and dewipered now.
PLans for the car are:
Lower it
Rear lights (black LED's)
new front lights (or mask the ones i have got)
new alloys
K&N panel filter
rocker cover sprayed
spray interior parts
Dewipre the rear
front splitter
SP arches and grills
im sure there or more plans i have for the car that i cant think off right now, but watch this space for more updates.

not much has happened since getting the car tbh, but got annoyed looking at the awful cut someone took out of the bumper before i got it, this was so the exhaust could be fitted.
So after fitting with the rear bumper for a could 45mins i finally got it of, and was left with this:
this is poor cut someone done before
so i got to work on the cut, smoothing it out and rounding it off, not the best of jobs but looks a hell of a lot better then its orignal look
ended up with this
Also yesterday i picked up an air filter and phase two washers jets and got these fitted today.
.
Let me know what u gys think.
also more to come over the next week or so

Well finally had a few days of in a row, so thought i would play about with the primer and black paint that i had left over.
took the front end apart (after a few cuts )
sprayed up the sports gril has wasnt a fan of it being silver.
after having a chat with liam hutchcraft. decided to spray the rocker cover white as it was looking old, and to try to mask the fogs, dont think either of them went to bad tbh lol.
Engine bay with new cover
the front end all back together.
Hopefully u like whats happened so far, will props mask the headlights next or get some morettes.
