Ok, so heres my problem.

I managed to kick a stone through some womans estate window yesterday while walking my dog, obviously did the right thing and went n knocked on her door, helped her clean the glass up and bag/taped up her window for her.
So managed to source a replacement window from a local scrap yard for 15+vat if i go remove the glass myself. 25+vat if they remove it.

seeing as im going to have to be fitting this window to another car its best i remove it myself...cant seem to find a guide.

can anyone help me out? im about to go up there with a screwdriver set and have a crack...its a 54 reg...

ps im new here so hello Smile

hi mate think you may need a tork set as there is 3 tork screws on the door pannel 1 in handle 2 around the edge and joust pull window winder off and pull pannel off . . . once that off wid window down so you can see both 10mm bolts and just put the front of the glass down and lift from the back be gentle you dont shatter it tho . . . its pretty straight forward mate

cheers for the reply mate little late just got back from getting it, was bit of a mission an a few hairy moments but not too hard, took about 20 minutes in total.

door card off, only 1 torx screew needed then in the door pull none in the handle or around the edge just clips, then ripped the soundproof off, but winder back on, wound it right down, took all the window rubbers off, then there is a small hole in the glass where it sits on the white plastic bit got a screwdriver and pushed the white bit out of the glass hole it pinged and went and i scraped my knuckles and s**t myself thought it was gonna smash haha then once it was free from the white plastic bit it was pretty easy to maneuver out of the outside of the door.

re-fitting tomorrow in the womans car....should be fun lol
