#1: Removing window tint Author: muzzy78, Location: LeicesterPosted: Mon Sep 26, 2011 9:33 am ---- Hi guys I had my windows tinted not so long ago but now I want to take it off. It was tinted using a heat gun. Can anyone tell me how to take it off without damaging the defroster lines on the rear window? (and also side windows)

give it a wipe with white spirit / paint thinner or similar to get the last bit of residue off.
