#1: interior light w5w 501 wedge bulb Author: canucrackit, Location: EssexPosted: Fri Sep 30, 2011 12:39 pm ---- Hi all,
Maybe I'm missing the obvious here but I want to change the standard interior main light from its normal colour to blue.
So I bought a 36led strip for "peugeot 206" off ebay, that wouldnt fit in it, and all the wiring looked different. Couldn't follow any of the intructions and looked everyone online, so I sent it back.
Next I thought i'll buy a w5w/501/wedge bulb in blue for it. It arrived but when i went to fit it, it wouldn't fit into the silver whole gap. It is getting caught on the blue part and just wont go through to where its meant to sit.
So I'm wondering if anyone else has managed to turn their interior lights blue, how did you do it? And where and what did you exactly buy please?
Thanks a lot!

you couldn't point me to which one you bought could you please? It's just that the blue outer plastic bit on the one I bought just wont seem to fit because its too large, I've been looking at the measurements on this pic
and cant seem to find one that matches it :/
thanks

as long as the two contacts are still touching it should work fine
