Rear light issue
-> 206 Problems

#1: Rear light issue Author: ajbrad, Location: NOTTINGHAM PostPosted: Mon Oct 03, 2011 11:03 am
    ----
A mate has put on LED rear lights that are second hand, but they keep cutting out and going off completely both lights. switching back to his old lights and doesn't seem to have a problem. Any idea why this would happen, if it's a fault with the new lights would both go off? Are they not independent units?

Any advice would be great

Cheers

Are they these lights by any chance ?

As these lights are well known for having lot's of problems with the LED's not coming on etc.

Had a set of these one's myself and had to turn the lights on and off again by the stalk about 4 times before the rear LED's would turn on.
