wrong bulb in morretes?

i went out to my lights this morning to fit some 501 LED's. but found the bulb and holder fitted is a totally different set up. the picture below is the current set up. what i woild like to know is can i just connect a normal 501 sidelight holder?

On mine, the brown connector is connected straight to the bulb holder. Mine hasnt been changed. Just saying how it should be set up, as for anything else i dont know?

EDIT: also just noticed its morrettes so dont know if its different

Yer i have the brown connector and it doesnt fit in my morettes, where can you buy the adaptor from and what is it called?

the connector above came with mine. no idea what the bulb is though

The bulb is a 501 wedge bulb mate in an old indicator connector in your pic but its not the usual setup.Pugs have these as standard and in morettes dont they?

They arent orig morette parts though but looks like someone has had different connections in the past and bodged it.These will do.

The originals should look like the connector in the pic below (far left/2 green wires)

my above picture is my sidelight connector not my indicator mate. as my indicator.does look like the green wires.

indeed, its missing the normal sidelight holder. see pic below, you can just about see them 2 individual white parts connect to the holder.

Liam no, they are correct bulbs

I have tried, they will NOT fit no matter how hard you try

You can find LED ones, i did
