Why? There are enough knowledgable people on here without the 1.4 who will help. Tbh I am not sure how many people on here have a 1.4 with raceland manifold.

Just write the story here and see if anyone can help, just because people have a 4-2-1 as well doesn't mean they will know the answer Laughing

You gonna have to type your issue out at one point. Might as well ask everyone more likely to get an answer?

So, I got a Raceland 4-2-1 manifold from eBay. I went to an exhaust specialist who installed for me. But he told it it takes about 1-2-3 hours to take it up! So I went away and he called 4-5 hours later. I went to him and he said he suffered a lot of removing the original manifold because some screws broken into the cylinder, maybe 2-3 screws, i dont excatly remember how many. And he said he was trying to weld another screw to the broken screw and untwist it. He done well it, BUT i think he forget to remove the battery sandal. because if you are welding , you must remove it, cuz you can cause problems! So the car got faster as well, but I also got a problem too. And the problem is the car is pulling, and pulling. Sometimes it breaks down. So I feel the car like it doesn't get fuel. But I think the problem is the welding f**k up the BSI or the coil pack! But someone says the "rinse" is too much. (The exhaust gas rinse is too much, the car doesn't have choke) But I guess the main problem will be the welding without removing the battery sandal! :S So guys what do you think? What can be the problem? I will go back tomorrow to ask the exhaust specialist did he remove the battery sandal!

Yes, it seems easy to me too, but the screws didn't come out from the cylinder and the exhaust spec. had to force it with welding, and I think he didn't take off the battery so the welding f**ked up the BSI or the coilpack, or smth else electronic thing.

Have you reset the BSI yet?

It's a long shot, but that's all I can offer.
