Hi all just a quick one for you all, are the injectors programmed to the ecu on these, I thnk I might have a injector down and just wanted to know, if they are not I'll get a couple of spares and change them around which normaly tell you whats going on.

I've picked up some wynns injector clean to try first.

Think i'll be correected if i'm wrong but simplicily the ecu just controls the timing for the injectors and the injectors arnt programed to the ecu so i'd do as you suggested

well well well. after listening to Glenpring's video I was certain that the noise on the car was a chuffing injector, someone else also said it sounded like a injector down ( diesel knock ) ., I picked up some new injector seals, but before fitting them I went to see a mate who is a peogeot machanic.
He spent 2 seconds listening to it and said the injectors were fine and the bottom pulley had failed, so i took his word for it and bought a new pulley

Spent 10 mins chaging it and it now sounds brand new.

Didn't you think to check that first? They are prone to failing on the HDi engines

well I did kind of check it, I was told that they come loose slightly so I grabed it and tried to move it,it felt ok and it did when i took it off. If I didnt know better I would look at it and say it looks and feels fine, its when you tap it on the floor you can hear it tinging. Strange.

All's well that ends well
