different grade of oil rarely cause oil pressure problem in 206.

could be bockage in oil pump? or just a fault sensor really :s

Sure the dip stick, filter, oil cap are on secure?

Get the engine flushed, change to a specified oil and change the filter. Then see if the fault clears. For the cost of the oil and filter its a good first test Wink

Yep he is going to get oil change in next couple of days. Then will have to see if that helps.

But it was showing the fault before the oil was put in.

ok i assumed that since you mentioned about a service a couple of months ago it had only happened since then. if its a pre-occuring fault it might be worth flushing the engine as 'macj' said and trying the specific grade of oil but it might not be the fault. unless ofcourse the previous oil was really bad and has slightly blocked the oil pump, but if this is the case an engine flush should help this
