#19: Re: interior loom chop Author: Mr_Cellexe, Location: HertfordshirePosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 2:35 am ---- i've just tidied my looms up (ok, so its a 138 but still!) put them in spirwrap/convuluted tube and fixed them securely. not willing to chop anything out atm as you never quite know what, if any, problems it could cause.
Dont think you really need to and its not gonna save alot of weight either.
#20: Re: interior loom chop Author: shell-vt, Location: durhamPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 3:01 am ---- i may aswell just tidy it all up, few people say it could just cause probs , but still needs cutting anyway, when the cage was fitted, they made x1 mistake they forgot to keep the loom tucked up against the driverd door piller, now its on the wrong side of the cage and under the throttle pedal..

But to be honest, you should be able to just cut most things out, as long as you don't remove wires that are part of another circuit e.g don't go cutting earth and power wires willy nilly, ensure to check where they go and replace if needed
