Is this possible? having the sunroof open and close automatically (like the driver side window)?.. anyone did this?
(206 Xsi 2001 - big panoramic original sunroof)

Not done it to a 206 sunroof yet but fitted them to the windows before.

will this unit replace the unit in the sunroof base? will it fit? do they come in different sizes or do I need to find a specific one? do I need to rewire it or is it simply plug and play?

Its not plug & play, it comes with wiring instructions as you will have to do some rewiring, ive no idea if it will fit in the sunroof base.
DEI 530T window / sunroof control unit, Ebay USA will be the best place to find one.
