#1: fix door hinge Author: omricn, Location: israelPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 8:02 am ---- hi,
the problem is that the driver's door doesn't have that 2 phase opening, now I know the thingy that does that is a small screw right at the top of the edge of the inside part of the door, but it seems the screw is just sitting there wobbling and doesn't look like it can be screwed anywhere.. any solutions?

I'll see if it can be sorted with the one currently installed and if not I'll pass on it for now.. not that much of a hassle - door is opening all the way and not having that 2 phases opening, I can live with that..

Don't know why the difference between right and left though

That is wrong!
There is one part number only- 9181 C8 - check strap is reversible
The other is for a a different type of door opening

Ah cheers Lee, was wondering what the difference was with it being "post office"
On service box where it says "2" in the column between the part number and item description, does that mean they are supplied as a pair?
Just wondering because the hinge pin has "4" in the column
#12: Re: fix door hinge Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Oct 10, 2011 11:31 am ---- Means there are 2 on the car

I suppose that makes sense. The French aren't daft then, plus they play rugby better than us, the b******s.
