nice ride man, i like the sp arches, never seen them on a 5 door, they suit it, sorta help give it that hunkered down luxury cruiser look.

I would switch to the leon cupra splitter though, i think it would help the lines flow better, as the laguna one sorta fights with the rest of the car. and debadge the boot! may be find a special home for the special edition badge? - perhaps where the lion badge is? could look quite unique

love the centre console though, nice little touch. was thinking about respraying mine to a lighter silver (to match the door handles and brighten up the interior a bit)

get some pics up if you get the pedals Razz

Love it, - im a green car fan!

Hey Gaz, love this car. Just wondering, how difficult was the auto folding mirrors? and is that a 406 rear view mirror? Sorry, but would there be any chance of putting the link up to that reversing kit you bought.

Good work

Thanks mate.

Yeah it's a 406 auto dimming rear view mirror. The auto folding mirrors, as everyone asks ( Razz ) are very difficult and complex, and even so you already need to have electrically folding mirrors. I got them done for me but it's a long and complex task, and I'd think twice before having it done again.

The reversing kit is any of them off eBay really, the one I bought is as follows (I think). DON'T sand the sensors, it damages them, just primer/spray/lacquer. Key very very gently if you want but don't go at them heavy handedly. They'll still be fine.

cgi.ebay.co.uk/CISBO-P...35a4014dc1

You can get different style ones with a graphical display etc. I just wanted mine discreet and unobtrusive.

Apreciate your words very much!

I cant even see where you put the sensors in! Didnt think you'd be able to spray them etc and they'd work. Really beautiful car, keep the OEM luxury theme going, because it suits the car well.

Cheers

Thanks for the words man, nice to get compliments as ever Very Happy
I've never personally been a fan of the Cupra splitter, and I think that if it's got to go on a 206, suits the sports bumper ones better as they have more pronounced 'flares' that go with the splitter. So Laguna's staying I'm afraid - might have a bit of a change to it though Wink

I've also been thinking about the bood badging and perhaps going for a France-only boot strip, but still not sure if I like it. It's aluminium with PEUGEOT written across it evenly, could look quite smart. I'd then remove the existing Peugeot badge on the bootlid and put 206 there....

Thanks also about the centre console, so pleased with the finish of this. Definitely do it metallic if you do it, when it catches the sun you see all the little metallic particles!

I'll look into how much moolah they want for the pedals when I get home....methinks they need doing Laughing

Thanks very much mate, very much appreciated. Compliments are always nice Very Happy thank you, OEM theme will be kept going, I've got a nice long list of potential mods that are coming up. Hopefully by the end of summer the RG will be sporting a few new modifications Wink

I destroyed a first set of parking sensors with spraying them Twisted Evil be careful if you get them! Reread what I said about sanding or you'll have to get another set like I did Embarassed

Cheers mate!

Haha, i wont touch them with sand paper! So you just primered them, spray green (code green), then laquered? Sounds too good to be true because i sat there for around 10 mins trying to find them, because i thought they were clips to hold the bumper!

Yep, that's literally it. I did two very thin coats of primer, two very thin coats of spray, and two very thin coats of lacquer. Key is to keep it all thin but well covered. Lol! That's all you have to do, patience is the key Wink

And then once you're ready to mount them, find a place where they look smart and OEM like I did. Measure, measure and remeasure as well Laughing

that aluminum tailgate bit should look good, worth a try at least and if it looks w**k, im sure some one will want to take it off your hands Razz

yea was thinking of silver centre console and laquering it. could do it in teh same colour as the body, but could look a bit weird with the black and red interior :\

auto's for the win!
