#1: losing power and sounding crap! Author: Gaz360, Location: LouthPosted: Sat Oct 15, 2011 9:29 am ---- My engine isnt running very well at the minute. its weak on power an sounds a bit crap when i press the accelerator.
I thought it got sorted when i took it to the garage an he put new injectors isn't it. This really did work for a short amount of time. engine was perfect an ran sweet as a nut, but the problem has slowly come back an its annoying me now. when i say slowly... i mean it gets worse as it get hotter. seems fine when its cold.
Have just replaced the spark plugs with bosh super 4s from the ngk ones. hasnt worked. thinkin it might be the coil pack. any ideas. cheers.

Check the state of the fuel pump and air intake
Check the coolant temp sensor

Author: Gaz360, Location: LouthPosted: Sat Oct 15, 2011 10:40 am ---- The lamba sensor is bran new. so is the exhaust. would of done diagnostic before but the spark plugs probly needed changing anyway cuz ive heard that them ngk plugs are not to good on the coil pack an the boshe super 4s recommended.

what sort of effect does this sensor have on the car. not sure if thats my coolant temp sens or not?? does this sound like it could be part of the problem because i swapped the coil pack an didnt make a difference so will send it back.
