#1: Indicator Light slowly stopped working Author: harbachek, Location: AmsterdamPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 7:44 am ---- Hello guys, I am new to this forum. Just got my brother's 206 1.9 diesel and I am trying to deal with one really nasty problem:
The left indicator lights are not working. When I switch them on I hear the left relay on the BSI rapidly clicking. Three months ago all of the lights(front rear, side and warning light located on the board) were working but gradually the relay started skipping clicks and at the end it started clicking rapidly without any of the lights working at all. However, sometimes when I switch them on for the first time they blink once and then the relay starts doing the same old thing again.
I've checked the bulbs and the sockets, they are all right. I am sure that it has nothing to do with the indicator stalk because when I unlock the car I see only the right indicator lamps blinking but none of the left. I removed the stalk, locked the car and unlocked it again and the result was the same. I checked the fuses, they are fine. I made a system restart on the BSI but nothing helps. Do you have a slightest idea what might be the cause? I do not have any equipment to make an analysis, thus I do not know many details around the problem.
I would be grateful if you could help me out, 10x!

How can I test it to see if that's the problem?

Today I tried pushing a little bit the cables around the fuses and it didn't help much but at some point it started clicking normally for 2-3 seconds.
Do you guys have any idea? I live in Amsterdam and the guys at the nearby garage want 250 euros only for analysis...
