#11: Re: Car not starting Author: austin316, Location: crawleyPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 12:54 pm ---- 2004 (53 plate) and yup, car started earlie with that key, and also tried spare.. and not tried bumping as of yet

#12: Re: Car not starting Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 12:56 pm ---- Shouldn't jump start a multiplexed car.
Try soft booting the BSI
If it bumps, then it rules out a IMMO fault.
#13: Re: Car not starting Author: austin316, Location: crawleyPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 12:59 pm ---- Oops, sry, whats soft booting the BSI?
#15: Re: Car not starting Author: austin316, Location: crawleyPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:28 pm ---- have just tried the soft boot method... The clock lights and everything comes on as normal inside the car, the sidelights came on, but only after i put the ignition on. When I tried starting the car, the engine was making a kind of whirring noise, not sure if this is the engine turning over?
