#1: 206 GTI 180 WHEEL BOLTS/LOCKING WHEEL BOLTS Author: dhicks19, Location: WINSFORDPosted: Mon Oct 31, 2011 10:50 am ---- Hi, basically the garage rounded my locking bolts off completely which I have managed to remove. However I thought I would try a different type of locking bolts as pug ones are crap (2ND SET I HAVE HAD).
These did not fit, I have ordered another and those didnt fit. Despite the companies claiming they will fit the gti 180.
Basically can any 1 here help me source some different style locking wheel bolts, or even the standard wheel bolts as no one is going to nick my rims.
If not I will have to buy the original locking bolts if I can find them online.
there's so many different types I have wasted 50 already .
They are the standard wheels.
Thanks people much appreciated

After you have to get them gas cut out which ruins the paint on the wheel you think twice about them.
Heard good things about Mcguard though

I'm talking about the newer ones that when the locking nut is used too much and incorectly it gets damaged and when you try to get a socket on it to wind them on their 'anti theft' system just snaps the head off in which the only case is the gas cut them out.
The other ones are a bit better but crap when they round.
