#1: which tappets for a 2.0ltr ??? Author: ronnie, Location: LanarksPosted: Tue Nov 01, 2011 11:59 am ---- A little tappet noise on start up from what appears to be only one tappet.
Have been told that other tappets are a better choice when replacing them
Anyone know which ones to use from 1.8 1.6 or 2.2 peugeot engines?
Has anyone replaced their tappets?
Easy job?
Ronnie

It's basically a cambelt job plus the whole belt cover, cam pulleys and cams need to come off.

Seems a big job for a little ticking noise when cold (turn the radio up or cure?)
Why were tappets used from the 307 rngine ? Was this an improvement over standard
Anyone have photos of the head with the cam cover off to see what's involved
