I live in Southampton, is there anybody who can or knows someone who can adjust the torsion bars? I've had a go myself with a friend and one of the bars is seized

Get some penetrating oil on the ends of the torsion bars in the mean time.

i'd agree with the above, get plenty on there before hand, changes the job completly

I use 3-in-1 penetrating spray and brake cleaner for stuff like that
